A Cylindrical Dielectric Resonant Antenna

A crafted cylinder lump of dielectric can be used to generate simple antenna from a puck to a rod. The use of dielectric means there are no metalisation losses except for those in the excitation elements. usage 1GHz upwards to mm waves.
