A Dome Dielectric Resonant Antenna

A crafted dome like lump of dielectric laid flat on a ground plane like a bulls eye window pane can be used to generate simple antenna. The use of dielectric means there are no metalisation losses except for those in the excitation elements. usage 1GHz upwards to mm waves.
